Awareness Program

One of the EFB's essential roles is to raise social awareness regarding the great amount of food that is being wasted, that could otherwise feed many underprivileged individuals in the country. 

Through a protocol held between the EFB and the Egyptian Hotels Association, the EFB provides hotels with foil trays in order to pack the UNTOUCHED food from the main buffet to be distributed to the nearest NGO or area with underprivileged individuals.
 
Due to the success of this protocol, the EFB also began holding campaigns in order to encourage individuals to do the same thing with the left over food at home. This program enables the packaging for the remaining UNTOUCHED food from a event or large meal that was held in a household, to be distributed to the nearest area with underprivileged people.
